OVERVIEW
A lip flip is a subtle, non-surgical treatment that enhances the appearance of the upper lip using small amounts of anti-wrinkle injections (typically Botox). Rather than adding volume like traditional lip filler, the lip flip relaxes the muscles around the mouth, allowing the upper lip to gently roll outward. This creates the illusion of a fuller, more defined lip, especially when smiling. It’s ideal for clients who want a natural-looking enhancement, correct a gummy smile, or simply add a touch of lift to the upper lip without added volume.

CONSULTATION
At NTK Aesthetics, every lip flip begins with a personalised consultation to understand your goals and determine if this treatment is the right fit for you. We’ll assess your natural lip shape, muscle movement, and overall facial balance, as well as review your medical history. This is your opportunity to ask questions and discuss the subtle differences between a lip flip and lip filler, so we can tailor your treatment to suit your desired outcome.
THE TREATMENT
The lip flip is a quick and simple procedure. After a gentle cleanse of the area, a few tiny injections of Botox are placed just above the upper lip to relax the orbicularis oris muscle. The treatment takes less than 10 minutes and requires no numbing cream, as any discomfort is minimal and short-lived. You’ll begin to see the effects within a few days, with full results appearing in about 7–10 days. The result is a subtly enhanced upper lip that looks naturally fuller and more defined, especially when you smile.
SAFETY DURING THE TREATMENT
The lip flip is a low-risk treatment when performed by experienced professionals, like those at NTK Aesthetics. The amount of Botox used is minimal, which helps ensure a natural look while reducing the chance of over-relaxation. Any side effects—such as mild swelling or tenderness—are temporary and resolve quickly. As with all of our treatments, we prioritise safety, precision, and client satisfaction, ensuring you’re in expert hands from consultation to aftercare.
